Kuutio is located on the second floor of Oodi. It’s glass-walled space equipped with two screens, projectors and microphones. You can make a reservation up to a week before your event at the latest. Reservations can be made roughly one year in advance. You can have a maximum of two active reservations for Kuutio.
If necessary, you can cancel your reservation, free of charge, three weeks prior to the reserved time. Please notify us of the cancellation at oodi.tilat@hel.fi. Uncancelled reservations and reservations that were cancelled too late will be invoiced for.
Kuutio is fully accessible. Kuutio is equipped with an induction loop.
Catering services are available from Oodi’s restaurant. It is not allowed to order catering services from a service provider other than Oodi’s restaurant.
Technology
All prior arrangements for the event must be made within the reserved time frame. All technical arrangements must be agreed upon no later than two weeks prior to the event by email to oodi.tilat@hel.fi. At the start of the facility reservation, a member of Oodi’s technical staff will provide advice and guidance on the use of the facility’s audiovisual technology.
Screens and projectors
There are two screens and two projectors. You can connect your equipment to the projectors via HDMI. By connecting your own device to the HDMI cable, you can play back the sound from your device through the sound system in the room. Please be prepared to bring your own connectors, if necessary, that are compatible with our equipment. If you wish, you can also use our laptop.
The same content will be projected onto both screens. If you want to project different content onto the screens, you will be provided with a wireless keyboard and mouse to control a desktop computer.
Microphones
There are 4 wireless handheld microphones and 1 headset microphones available. You can use simultaneously 4 microphones in total (for example 3 handheld and 1 headset microphones).
Internet connection
The space is equipped with an open ‘Helsinki – Helsingfors’ wireless network connection.
Other technologies
Portable conference speaker (Jabra). Web camera (Logitech c920 USB).
Streaming
You must carry out the streaming with your own equipment or order the service from an external provider. Remember to book enough time for preparation and dismantling! A wired network connection is available for streaming. The sum sound is obtained from Kuutio’s mixer with XLR cables.

Rules for using the facility
By reserving Kuutio you agree to comply with the rules for the facility. If necessary, the library has the right, at its discretion, to disallow the lessee from entering the rented facilities or to interrupt an event held in the rented facilities, if it comes to light that the rules are being or have been violated.
