Meet you at Kansalaistori square!
Central Library Oodi is located in Helsinki city centre at Kansalaistori square, opposite Parliament House, in the immediate vicinity of the railway station. You can easily reach us from anywhere in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area using public transport.
Entrances
Central Library Oodi’s three entrances are located at Kansalaistori square, on Eero Erkon katu at the end of Rautatientori square and on Töölönlahdenkatu at the end of Töölönlahti bay.

Oodi by bicycle
The Baana pedestrian and bicycle corridor runs from Ruoholahti to Kiasma, which is right next door to Oodi. From northern Helsinki, you can easily reach Oodi by following the edge of Central Park and Töölönlahti bay. There are bicycle racks next to Oodi’s Kansalaistori square entrance, and the nearest city bike station is located close by, right next to the railway.
By car
The nearest paid car parks are P-Eliel and Aimo Park Finlandia.

By taxi
The nearest taxi rank is located between Central Library Oodi and Sanoma House, on Eero Erkon katu. You can order a taxi to Oodi’s Eero Erkon katu entrance, and taxis can also drop off their customers in front of the entrance. The distance to the entrance is approximately five metres. The entrance is equipped with a ramp.

Particular attention was paid to accessibility when designing Oodi.
Are dogs allowed in Oodi?
The only pets allowed at Oodi are guide dogs.
